A child by the name of EDITH MAY KNAPPENBERGER lived down the street from the James Henry Knappenberger family in the 1920 census and is listed as 11 months old.  She is living in the household of Stewart and Emma Meckes and is listed as their grandchild.  Her mother was Jennie Agnes Meckes (1896-1984) who later married Ulysses S. Green (1887-1973).  Edith was listed as 11 years of age in the 1930 census living with her mother, her stepfather Ulysses Sidney Green. and twin half sisters Helen and Arlene Green who later married and became Helen Rohn and Arlene Rohn.  She also had a half brother, Willard Andrews, and a half sister, Ruth Andrews who married a Mr. White.  Edith was born February 1919 and died prior to 1984.  Edith Knappenberger aka Edith Green later married a Mr. White.  We do not know who her father was at this time.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
